I am inspired by many topics as an artist, but I think the topic I am attracted to the most is the idea of the monster. I have been fascinated by mythical monsters and monsters from horror media for a long time. As I have grown older I have also become interested in the way human beings use the idea of the montster. Wether it is to distance oneself from others, from themselves, or from concepts and forces they do not understand, I think the psycological dimension of monsters is something I love to examine through my artwork.
